Dear Buchanan-Verplanck Families,

Welcome to Buchanan-Verplanck Elementary School, serving our youngest learners from PreK through 2nd grade! 

At B-V, we are dedicated to fostering not only strong academic growth but also the social and emotional well-being of every child. Our goal is to meet each student’s unique needs through engaging, differentiated instruction. This includes a special focus on play and play-based learning as we strive to provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all.  

We believe that open communication and ongoing collaboration with families are essential to student success. Our school offers a wide range of resources to support your child, including academic support services in English Language Arts and Math, as well as access to our speech-language therapist, school counselor, social worker, and psychologist.
